Magic Meals
These are the meals that are created when there seems to be no food in the house. (pulling a rabbit out of a hat)
And when I announce "dinner," and get the inevitable question "what are we having?", I tell them we're having rabbit.

Four boxes of milled flax appeared in my kitchen yesterday. The first recipe I found was Bob's Red Mill Bran Flax Muffins. I didn't have all the ingredients, so I changed things up a bit. These aren't very pretty, but they are so good, and so good for you! My favorite comment was "These are so good, you should open a muffin store!" I hope you like them too.

This one of the "Magic Meals" where I actually took a picture. As you can see, we were already well into eating it by this time. Putting together a Magic Meal seems to transport me to one of those Zen places I visit from time to time. I don't necessarily stop and document what is happening, I just fully immerse myself and enjoy the experience. You can thank my husband for reminding me to take pictures and type out the recipe. It's really good!
