You will need:
4 Tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 onion, chopped
3 sprigs fresh cilantro, chopped
fresh oregano, chopped
1 package Sazon seasoning
1 8-oz can GOYA tomato sauce
3 - 4 Tablespoons medium Pace chunky Salsa
2 cups rice
2 cups water
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
In large skillet, heat olive oil and saute garlic, bell pepper and onion for a few minutes. Add cilantro, oregano, seasoning, tomato sauce, and salsa. Bring to a boil. Add in rice and water. Bring back to boil, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes, or until rice is tender. Arrange shrimp on top, cover, and turn heat off. Let stand until shrimp are cooked throughout.
Serve immediately.
