Tonya, I know you're going to be happy that I'm publishing this recipe. I remember that it was always one of your favorites. Enjoy!
You will need:
2 cans chopped shrimp, drained and rinsed
2 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
4 Tablespoons butter, softened
1 teaspoon lemon juice
dash garlic powder
1 cup finely chopped celery
1 medium onion, finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Blend cream cheese and butter with mixer on low speed.
Add lemon juice, celery, onion and spices; blend well with wooden spoon.
Add chopped shrimp.
Chill before serving. (overnight chilling produces the best flavor!)
Serve with your favorite crackers

This healthier-than-hummus dip, with its colorful vegetable salad on top, partners well with pita bread and is great for a summer picnic or other party

This roasted red pepper dip recipe makes about 3/4 cup.
